Spencer Smith...I know how ya feel!

Hey guys! Well, since I'm alone on a friday night, I figure I might as well throw a few things your way! I now officially know how Spencer Smith feels because one of my best friend's birthday is today, and she's out celebrating with some of our other friends, but I unfortunatly cannot join them because I have yet to reach the age of 21. I've never had a longing to turn 21, because I can't drink really anyways, but it kinda sucks that your besties are out having fun and there is nothing any of us can do. All of my besties who are my age are all off to college, so Rissa's social life is gonne be sad for awhile!
On a happier note, Sunday is the SUPER BOWL! One of the only nights a year that my family on my dads side gets together. And the STEELERS ARE GOING TO TAKE IT HOME! I love having my team in the bowl, but I love it even more knowing that I'm not a bandwagon fan! I've been with these guys since I was born!
Oh, and I bought some tickets today to go see Fall Out Boy! and with All Time Low! I'm so excited and I can't wait for May 12th to come along!
I'll write again soon, but I'm going to go watch my brother in law play video games now.

I Believe, this might call for a proper introduction

Hello, this is my first post on this here blog. So my name is Marissa, but Rissa seems to be my most common nickname, so I'm going with it! I'll be using this blog to tell anyone who cares about what I'm doing, and to post my concert,movie, and random preformance reviews. I am a music jounalist/critic in training. I hear it too often that amazing bands hate being interviewed, because of no good journalist. So my goal is to be an honest jounalist. I want to write about what the diehard fans want to hear, and not some gossiping teenies. Along with that, I want to write reviews, because many concert and play preformance moments have changed my life. I want to share my experiences, good or bad, with whoever wants to read them. I've also been working on a novel for a bit over a year, just as a stress reliever. Nothing I'm going to hardcore try to have published.
Panic at the Disco is my favorite band. I honestly can't say where I would be without them. I wouldn't be writing, thats for sure! I also love Green Day, Fall Out Boy, Flickerstick (i'm going to miss you guys!), All Time Low, and The Academy Is.... I also enjoy classic rock, like the Beatles, Queen, and a lot of what my mom has forced me to listen to over the years.
The Harry Potter series, owns a big part of my life. This book series probably saved me! Ron Weasley ftw! The Chronicles of Narnia series has also changed me for the better. I'm also one of those Twilight girls...I said it would never happen, but I was born with the fan-girl gene(the sane one, not the 'GAHHH ILOVE YEWWWW!' one), and thats pretty much the ultimate fan-girl series!
Well here we are, you know a little about me. I'm going to try to update this with random thoughs as often as I can, so keep checking back with me!
