New Fall Out Boy music video!!....sorta
Hey everyone! Check out this hilarious "music video." It's basically a little film entitled "A Weekend at Pete Rose's" set to 'Headslide first into cooperstown villiage on a bad bet.' Not ment to be taken seriously at all. But if you enjoy Brendon Urie and Spencer Smith goofing around with a Pete Wentz, and discussing 80s movies, you'll love it! It's awesome for some laughes!

Jennifer's Body
Hey Everyone! Got the 'back to school' blues? I know that I do! Ya know what i do when I have the blues? I listen to music! I especially love hearing new music. Today just so happens to be the day that you can buy the soundtrack to 'Jennifer's Body.' It features new music from groups such as Panic! at the Disco, All Time Low, Cute is what we Aim for, and oodles of other amazing bands!
When you buy the soundtrack off of iTUNES, you also get the music video for Panic! at the Disco's song 'New Perspective.' I can't post a link to the video, because it hasn't been officially released except through iTUNES yet, but it's amazing. Spencer and Brendon look absolutly amazing. I'd let them save me from aliens anytime! (their outfits just reminded of the movie 'Men in Black' so that justifies that statement!)
So kill the blues, save the music industry, and buy the soundtrack! The movie itself hit's theaters September 18th.
Have a good day everyone!

Blink-182 are Fan-Approved!
Finally, after much heart-break, and waiting, the kings of punk-pop have returned to the stage. August 14th Blink-182 will take with them bands who they have musically inspired, including Chester French, Panic! at the Disco, and Fall Out Boy, to the Post gazette Pavillion in Pennsylvania. Every band hit the stage that night with one intention. To please all 29,000 fans in the place!
Chester french is made up of a group of kids who met in college, and stem from all around the country. Their name comes from artist and sculptor, Daniel Chester French. This group of kids had amazing fan communication throughout their set. The crowd seemed to react appropriately, despite their thirst for the main attraction.
Following the up and comers, came Vegas-based band, Panic! at the Disco. arriving on tour with a replacement guitarist and bassist due to a resent split, the quartet played fan favorites, as well as a new song, 'New Perspective.' Stage chemistry was amazing, and the songs came across as solid as when the original members performed them together. P!ATD has been known to play the occation Blink-182 cover song back in their basment days, which fueled their excitment throughout their set. The crowd responded well to everyone's favorite Vegas gentlemen, but still thirsted for more.
Illonois based Fall Out Boy came out with high spirits. Their complete joy of opening up for one of their own inspirations, and simply being able to perform was enough for these four guys to put on a spectacular show. Again, playing fan favorites from all of their hit records. They even let the crowd choose which song they wanted to hear, by measurement of applause. The crowd settled on a 'fun new song', which was a cover of Journey's 'Don't Stop Believing.' They set into this song with a little help from Panic! frontman, Brendon Urie. the crowd responded accordingly. By screaming, cheering, and full out applauding.
The lights go down, the phones and cameras go up, and the curtain drops. We are greeted by the fun loving trio, Blink-182. Not only did they please the fans by playing hits such as 'All the Small Things,' 'Stay Together for the Kids,' and 'What's my age again?', but also by having drum artist Travis Barker hooking himself to a harness, and playing the flying and swinging drum kit. Excitment overwhelmed even the king of awesome himself, Tom Delonge. During many of the songs the words seemed to escape him, and he reached to the crowd to help remember the words. Mark Hoppus even noted the fun by describing it as "a birthday cake wrapped around a wedding ring, tucked inside an orgasm." A phrase that even the greatest of critics couldn't create Mr. Hoppus, truely!
'Dammit,' will close out the performance for the evening, being joined by floating wavy men that you often see at a car lot. They couldn't have chosen a better song to sum it all up. The kings have picked up where they left off, and have plans to hit the studio after their reunion tour. After so many years, they continue to inspire up and coming musical legends, and remain total bad-asses.
After talking to fans afterwards, some simply gave me a thumbs up when I asked what they thought about the show. I also got a "Blink-182 put on the performance of a lifetime." Even fans who came for the opening acts stated that they are walking away with new heros in the world of punk-pop music.

SERIOUS STUFF
Hello all 9 readers!
okay, first of all, BLINK 182 was amazing! and it really made me realize something. I can take this little private blog, and make it into something. Maybe not anything huuuge, but something, that could lead to perhaps a bigger website. So, I'll be using this blog to update about music that I like. No one wants to read about my boohoo shitaki...hell I don't even wanna ready about it. Maybe if something inspirational happens, i'll post about it, but primarily, i'll be using this to boost my hopeful future.
SO FIRST OF ALL- tell your friends! rissaatthedisco.blogspot.com. I don't care if they don't follow me, but if they read my reviews and updates, that would be amazing.
SECONDLY- help me out. Is there a band I should listen to? Did you go to the same concert as I, and wanna contribute to my review? LET ME KNOW! Did you write a review and want me to read/post it as well? gimme!
3RD-LEE- Follow my twitter for 'on the scene' concert updates. My twitter will be used for useless purposes as well, but on concert dates, it'll be updated with concert stuff. I'll also update it with CD releases and stuff. twitter.com/rissaatthedisco
Thanks to everyone who has helped me out so far, and to those who will help me go further. I appriciate all feedback on reviews, good or bad. I want my dreams to come true, and I've started from the lowest low, and I wanna go as far as I can.
WITH THAT! Here are some dates you should know!
OCtober 6th- Days Difference CD release date. These boys are talented musicians, and they deserve all the recognition in the world.
October 13th- A Rocket to the Moon release their first full length 'On your side.' I've never seen them live, however their first EP 'greetings from' is very impressive.
NEXT BLOG WILL BE A REVIEW OF BLINK 182's concert!
Thanks all!
Peace, Reinvent Love, and music,

L.O.V.E
I'm a writer. I love writing, and I always have. I've discovered that love can change, and me saying that I love writing is proof of that. In high school, just a mere 2 years ago, I hated english, and everything that went along with it. I loved flute performance, and still do, but the passion i tried to force just wasn't there. My flute love, will always be a happy hobbie. Music, it's obvious I love music. Concerts and mosh pits are just fun to get lost in! Maybe not so much the mosh pits, but I do love getting lost in music.
I've rescently taken an intrest in dancing. Watching broadway shows, and actually paying attention to detail. Taking my alone time at night to put on some The Maine, or All Time Low, and just dance has been a huuuge stress reliever. I love it. I love after dancing, taking a shower, and sitting down with my laptop, and writing my stories, poems, lyrics, whatever comes out. I just let the keyboard direct me where to go.
Listen to the music you love. Write what you know. Dance like no one is watching, when they are. Live with courage and passion for what you're doing.
I loved this guy so so so much. So much that I prayed every night that he would find me. I prayed that he would be the one. He changed, and is no longer the guy that I fell head over heels for. Now, I can say that I am in Love with a different guy, who seems similar to the first one. It's not settling, it's changing. But this new guy, I just have to find him one more time, and tell him. Had i known then, what I've learned since, I wouldn't have let him go so easily.
Toast to a new outlook on life! Cheers!
